All proceeds from this event will help fund the Operation Purple Camp® program, to be held this July 11-16.  For those who haven’t seen firsthand or haven’t heard testimonies of the extraordinary power and impact this program has in the lives of military children and their families, here is a brief summary:

Operation Purple Camp® is a national program of the National Military Families Association (NMFA); its aim is to support military families by offering a free week of fun and recreation for military kids (whose parents have been, are or will be deployed), our youngest heroes, and to connect them to other youth who are part of the military community.  This is the only overnight camp program of its kind being offered in Western and Central New York, and we at Pioneer are proud to host it once again.

If you are a golfer (or even a recreational duffer who simply enjoys a wonderful day of fun and fellowship) and have a passion to help children and support the ministries of Pioneer, then by simply being there and participating you will be partnering with us, the children and their families   We are also looking for sponsors to cover the tournament costs, so every possible dollar will go towards the Operation Purple Camp® program.  Sponsors will be gratefully recognized at the event on banners, their company logos on golfer gift items, and by media exposure the day of the event.
